HCV treatment.

As I read and feel my way around I get most of my questions answered.  I'm sure I will have more questions come up as I have an appt. with my Gastro doctor tomorrow.  Anyways I just posted this to share some information I ran across.  Here are a couple of links; the top one has a powerpoint presentation on HepC101 and the bottom link is the fda link and if you just go to their search box and type in HCV a wealth of information will come up.  This is certainly not like asking a question and getting the support of the forum, but it could be useful information.  God Bless

Have you thought about going to a Hepatologist instead of a gastro doctor?  That seems to the the consensus on these boards, and after all my research, that is the route I am going.

Yes I have thought about it and I will ask about it today.  It may be an insurance issue but that don't make sense cause I have very good insurance.  All I know is every time I have been referred out re: liver biopsy's etc. by the doctors that I've had over the years they have sent me to this same guy.  The first I ever heard of a Heptologist was from this board.  thanks
