Can you help solve a mystery

My step sister is at a loss as to what is happening to her 6 year old son.
At 2 he began having leg pains, then about 6 months ago he started hurting in his arms and legs and feet and still leg pains and wakes up screaming in pain biting at his arms. His doctor seems concerned at this point after previously thinking just growng pains..he is under going numberous blood est.....not sure if in relation but he has soiled on himself and has always done that even now at age 6...and then a couple weeks ago he had a nose bleed....He is also easy to become bruised.. any thoughts?
