increased risk during acute HIV

I had unprotected sex while on an Asian business trip on 1/20.  I returned home and had sex with my wife on 1/31.  On 2/3 I experienced a 48 hour stomach flu.  On 2/12 my wife experienced the same 48 hour flu.  I immediately told her what I had done in Asia and took a blood test for HIV on 2/15, which came back negative.

From what I've been reading the risk of transmitting HIV during the initial acute phase is high and I'm terrified that I've transmitted HIV to my wife.  I've had dry mouth ever since the flu and a yellow tint to my tongue.  (Maybe this is due to the incredible stress that I'm under?)  If I've only had sex with my wife that 1 time, what are the odds that she has HIV?

I'm absolutely terrified that she'll have to pay for my mistake...Terrified309

This forum is limited to STDs other than HIV.  Please see the IMPORTANT notice above.

Based on the timing and blood test results, it is impossible that your symptoms or your wife's are due to HIV that you acquired in January.  And HIV doesn't cause "stomach flu" symptoms (meaning nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, with or without fever).  If you need more reassurance than that, please re-post your question in the correct forum.
