Could I be Pregnant?

by foosed, Mar 07, 2008 12:10PM
My cycle is usually 25 days.I had a period on 4th Jan, then again on 29th Jan. My partner and I had sex on 10,13 and 14 Feb. I had major Cramping a couple of days after we last had sex. Then I have been having cramping on and off. I got what I thought was a normal period on Feb 26th and it lasted 4 and a half days instead of my usual 7. Then on Tuesday of this week, I spotted once and it was a brownish pink colour. I have been feeling worn out and my breasts are sore all the time. Plus by the evening my tummy is feeling bloated and I have been feeling light headed now and then. Could someone shed some light on this for me please?

Hello,

If you think you might be pregnant take a home pregnancy test (and follow the instructions carefully).

Best regards,

You may be.  Take a test and if it's a BFN wait until your officially late for your period and test again.

I have done one HPT and it was negative. I will wait to do another until after the 20th. Sweating more than normal over last few days, and have raised bumps around my nipples too.

Is there anyone who didn't find out they were pregnant until late on as they still had periods and HPT kept showing negative?

Hi, my sister in law didn't feel to well took a hpt and it came out negative.  So she went to the docotor and they told her that she's pregnant.  So yes, maybe the hcg levels weren't high enough to be detected when you took the pregnancy test.  It's best to repeat the test or to go the doc and do blood test.  Good luck!

I've heard of women having light spotting during the first few weeks of being pg but never of one having a full on period while pg.  If you're having a period and the HPT are negative than you're not pg.

Still havn't had the guts to do another HPT. My question is, when I got up this morning I noticed a creamy white odourless discharge on my underwear.I haven't noticed anything like this so close to a preiod due date before. What could this be a sign of? Sorry for all the daft questions but if I am pregnant it will be my first baby.

When I first became pregnant I had what I thought was a normal period. It wasn't. It was implantation bleeding and that is what you could have experienced. Morning urine is the best to use when doing a HPT. If you still get negative I suggest you go to the doctor anyways because it is possible you are pregnant and that the test just isn't reading your hcg levels.
BEST OF LUCK
