Hi,

Sexual activity may be resumed once the urinary tract infection has been cleared. The medications for an infection are usually completed by 1 to 2 weeks.A repeat urinalysis may be done to show response to the medication. If the infection persists, urine culture may be done to guide treatment.

Allow your husband to complete his medications first.Discuss your concerns openly with your physician.
