Smaller head measurements

by chynababy717, Mar 08, 2008 02:11AM
I am 37 weeks pregnant and received prenatal care on a regular basis throughout my pregnancy. Everything was fine up until now. I was told that my baby's head is measuring smaller than average around in the 3rd percentile mark vs the average measurements. What can this possibly means? Should I be worried, i was also told that my baby weighs about 6lbs 3 oz right now and all organs appear normal except for the measurement of her head. Another ultrasound is going to be done next week a week before i give birth. My OB GYN told me that i shouldn' t worry but I can't help but worry after receiving such news. What type of head measurement she should have at 37 weeks?
