im 23 yrs old and married for 3 years.we are trying for a baby since last 4 mnths.i wanted to know if all is well so i tuk a follicle study test and these are the following medicines and tests which i took:
FEBRUARY-
24th FEB -1st day of cycle(around 7 p.m.)
25th FEB -starting DOPERGIN (1/2 tab IN MORNING +1/2 IN NIGHT AFTER MEALS) +FOLIC ACID
28th FEB -5th day (start colmid 50mg for 5 days daily at night)
4th MAR -10th day of the cycle(morning appt at 10 a.m.)REPORTS WERE NOT CLEAR THE DOCTOR SUGGESTED DISFLATYL TO CLEAR THE STOMACH.
6th MAR -12th day of cycle
           ULTRASOUND SCAN REPORT
           UTERUS - is normal size(7.8*3.5*3cm)
          CONCLUSION: a dominant follicle inside each ovary(16*13mm & 18*14mm)
8th MAR -14TH DAY OF CYCLE
            ULTRASOUND SCAN REPORT
           UTERUS - Appears normal in size(6.3*3.0*4.2cm)
           Surfaces appear smooth.
           There is no evidence of any gross uterine pathology
            The endometrium appears multilayered measuring about 8mm size.
           The endometrical cavity appears normal.
          Rt.ovary: normal in size &echotexture measuring (3.1*2.6cm)
                       Shows 1 follicle(1.6*1.5cm)
          Lt.ovary: appears slightly enlarged (4.3*3.0cm)
                       Shows 1 follicle(2.3*1.9cm)
                       Shows a cyst(2.9*2.4cm)

          Cul-de-sac:is free
         IMPRESSIONS -FINDINGS SUGGESTIVE OF FOLLICLES IN BOTH OVARIES
                                           LEFT OVARIAN CYST

NOW MY GYNAC IS SUGGESTING ME TO TAKE THIS INJECTION TO RUPTURE THE EGG.
BUT I FEEL IF EVERYTHING IS NORMAL WHY SHOULD I GO FOR THESE SHOTS.I WANT TO GO BOUT IT NORMALLY

PLEASE SUGGEST WHAT TO DO.

you r trying to conceive for the last four months. It might take six to eight months for the normal couple to conceive. So it sounds too early that you contacted the doctor for that if there are no other reasons for the consultation. There was no baseline ultrasound done in your case. It was done when you took clomifene (you didnt object to the clomifene when the doctor prescribed that; now you are objecting to the hcg injection). Your mature follicle can rupture on its own or it can be ruptured by hcg injection..
