Post-PRK activity and recovery

by debli, Mar 08, 2008 02:12PM
I underwent PRK in both eyes about 10 days ago.  I was told that I could resume all normal activity once the epithelium regrew.  However, I engage in combat sports and I wanted a second opinion.  Training and competition regularly involves punches, kicks, and other blows that can strike the head/eyes with quite a bit of force.  I don't want to risk jumping into training too early too soon only to negatively affect eye recovery.

Thanks,
