Should I have my wisdom teeth out?

by Tarant, Mar 08, 2008 07:38PM
Hello, I'm 31, and my dentist says I should have my lower wisdom teeth out.  I have no pain, but the teeth have never grown in.  Can this cause problems later on if I don't have them out now?

If the impacted tooth is completely intrabony, you may leave it alone. In contrast, if there is communication between oral environment and tooth, it 's better to extract the impacted tooth and there is less liklihood of future problem.
