I was diagnosed with APS in 2002 after going thru 8 blood clots, clots in my left calf, clots in my right calf, a clot in my left ankle, a clot in my lungs, clots in my heart, and finally a clot on my brain! My question to you (that it seems I cannot get an answer to is). What causes Primary Antiphospholipid Symdrome to turn into Catastrophic Antiphospholipid Syndrome? Am I at risk of developing CAPS?
