i don't know if i'm doing this right... but, ok, for a long time my son kept burping and it smelled like vomit, i mean straight stomach acid... but nothing but air came up.lots of times it was accompanied by diarrhea. well.... now it's happening to me too. i woke up yesterday feeling a little queezy, and layed back down for a bit then got back up, and felt just fine, continued on my day to eat lunch. well after eating lunch i started to have the vomit smelling and tasting burps accompanied with diarrhea !!! i have read many things but people refer to a sulfer or egg burp. this tastes and smells just like when you vomit !!! anyhow we are both sitting here today burping vomit burps and diarrhea. when i went to get him checked out before, the most extensive research they did was listen to him with a stethascope, and squish his guts !!! i even waited 6 months for a specialist !!!!!! and all he did was ask a couple of questions, when i told hi of my past problem, he went down that road... and suggested it was the same thing, when in fact they were nothing alike !. i have medical through the state.... for my son, and they just don't care... nothing is being resolved, can you suggest anything?  why does this happen?

Consider having yourself and your son tested for H. pylori. Docs can often seem to be disinterested, even under the best of circumstances. You may have to push to get to the bottom of the problem, but push to get tested for the bacteria.
