HIv & relationship

by jus4me004, Mar 09, 2008 05:30PM
I have been seeing this great guy for about 4 months now, and recently told him I was HIV +. We did have oral sex, but no intercourse, and I know that the chances of him contracting are slim to none. But I am really going crazy, since things have changed between us. We have recently talked, and he is just not sure what will happen next, intimacy, but we will definetly be good friends. I am just going crazy because I miss him and the time we spent together. Is there any advice about what I can do now??? I know that he may need time to process this. He is going to talk with his therapist, this week.... I just want some advise about what I can possibly do???

i'm not sure there is anything that "you" can do at this point.  this has to be something that he feels comfortable with.

I feel for you jus4me004. Good luck and dont torture yourself so much. He will come around. Just try to reassure him that there is nothing to worry about in terms of him contracting it and that you'd always be very careful of that.

Good luck sweetie.
