I just got a phone call from the resident Dr who was working with us during our loss. The Trisomy 13 was just a FLUKE!!!!!we will go back to the specialist on may 6th for a followup and will talk more about when it is time for us to ttc. The only precaution we have to take next time is early bloodwork (and since my Dr had done NO bloodwork, i will be happpy) and and ultrasound at 12 weeks instead of 20 weeks (and at a better hospital with better equipment) I am sooooooo happy right now. I was scared the Trisomy 13 was gonna be one of the rare cases that it was inheirted because being adopted I always had a fear of not being able to have kids for a genetic reason.
