Wrist Pain/No Strength

by jsp3093, Mar 10, 2008 07:22PM
Hi. I just got out of a cast about 2 weeks ago. I was in the cast for 7 weeks due to a broken elbow. I know it takes time to heal, but thats not what concerns me. I'm able to move my wrist up and down, side to side, and around. But, I can't put any weight whatsoever on my wrist without very bad pain. I can't lay my hand down and put my body weight on my wrist(push up) and I can't shoot a basketball without horrible pain. My wrists not only hurt but they feel very week. Does anyone have any idea what this could be or what I should do? Help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jordi
