Prostate cancer cell injection

If I have prostate cancer, can the cancerous cells be injected into my spouse during intercourse?  If so, would my spouse then get cancer?

My husband was concerned and asked this same question of his urologist and the answer was a flat "No" (to both your questions).

Hi,

There is no known risk of transferring prostate cancer through intercourse.

At the current time, there is also no viral agent associated with the development of prostate cancer that may be associated with other diseases that can pose a health risk to the female sexual partner.
