This patient support community is for discussions relating to ovarian cysts.
Please - I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could reply to this thread....feel all alone here.
Do you have a surgery date? You will feel better and relieved after it's out.
Good luck.
A large cyst like that is bound to cause problems. It pushes on other internal organs that are packed into the area pretty tightly. When is your surgery..? As stated above, Im sure your hormones are off balance right now. I would assume all these symptoms would resolve after surgery.
Good Luck and keep us posted

I don't have a surgery date yet, but hopefully it will be sometime in June. I'm in the UK and therefore have the inadequacies of the National Health Service to contend with!
Cirella - no they haven't been monitoring it. I only got a scan in Feb 08 despite complaining of pains since June 07! No other scans since Feb.
Julietstar - no - I haven't had my thyroid checked - I am going to see my gyn today, so maybe I will speak to him about it....
Thanks again ladies :o)
Get some painkillers from your doc - it will help a lot but you need to take them regularly as it take a while for the levels to build up in your body and start to work.
I am taking cocodamol and ibuprofen. The only problem is that they make you tired and constipated (yay!). It's like swapping one problem for another....
