Dark bumps/pimples on labia

by Pioneerwater, Mar 11, 2008 12:58PM
I’m a 21 year old female who is not sexually active.
I have no intentions of going to a doctor, so it would be nice of you to help :)

I have found (about a month ago) a few pimples and bumps on my labia area.  I despise them and want them gone.  They look disgusting.  I have recently switched to shaving, so I thought that could be the problem.  But they do not look like they are hair related. I honestly do not care what they are, I just want them to be removed. I have maybe 10 of them on and around my labia. How shall I get them removed?

thanks

Hello,

Sorry to have to tell you this, but you need to be examined.  Who could tell what these are until they've been inspected and I certainly wouldn't suggest you remove them on your own as you may be improperly treating it and you would put yourself at risk of causing long-term pain, and scarring.

Seek medical care,

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
