antigen positive after 6 months

though asymtpomatic, went to be diagnosed because one time encounter partner had chlamdyia. tested immediately and diagnosed with chlamydia infection 6 months ago. treated obsseive compulsively with doxycycline for 3 weeks, azithromycin 1x dose, then levofloxacin for 1 week. have not had sex since treatment. yet urethral swab antigen test 6 months later is positive. do I have a resistant strain? if still carried chlamydia for 6 months, am I likely to have epidydimitis thus infertility? should I restart doxycyline and levofloxacine treatment again or swith to different type since it did not work the first time?

The therapy you describe wold have certainly killed any chlamydial infection you might have had a number of times.  Each of the antibiotics you took is effective for chlamydia.   Antigen tests are subject to false positive test results.  Providing you have not be re-exposed since your treatment (your partner was treated as well, correct?) , if you get a repeat test with a PCR-type test or culture I suspect it will be negative.  Hope this helps.
