Hello,
My husband is 30, and has WPW (Wolff-Parkinson-White). He had an unsuccessful ablation procedure late last year, and it was determined that he has an extra passageway towards the outside of his heart. He was put on Flecainide Acetate, and we were told to explore other surgical options at The Cleveland Clinic. He had responded fairly well to the Flecainide up until yesterday, when he experienced two lengthy episodes of tachycardia; both requiring medical attention to control his heartrate.
In the next month or so we are hoping to have him set up with doctors at the Cleveland Clinic for another heart surgery. They mentioned they could perform the surgery via a scope straight into his chest. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a procedure like this to correct WPW?
If so, was it successful?

I live in Montreal Canada my sister has had no sucess with this as of yet. BUT you are lucky enough to be at the #1 cardiac facility in North america, I going to take the debts if necessary to get her treatment there. So trust what they say it may not work there are never any guarantees but if anyone could give you the best hope its them!!!!
