Cyst on nose?

About 3 weeks ago, I noticed a raised surface (approx 1 cm in diameter) on the tip (more right side) of my nose. I dismissed it. However, in the past week it is more noticable. It seems to be a bit whiter in color than my skin color, almost a waxy appearance to it. To the touch, it seems to have the same feeling/consistency of other side of my nose that is normal. Doesn't cause any pain, itching etc. I have the idea it is getting bigger and whiter in appearance. On that same side of my  nose where my nose meets my face (by nostrils), I have little red veins that have been appearing more over the past 2 years or so. I am 32 years old. Of course this concerns  me medically and very much so cosmetically.

I can't say for sure without seeing you, but this does not sound like a skin cancer or anything else of medical significance.  It may be a mole, or it may be irritation, or it may be nothing at all.  Blood vessels are common in this region--perhaps you are looking more closely at the area and are noticing them.  I advise you to leave the area alone so as not to confuse the issue and show the spot to a skin doctor when you can.

Best.
