Hello,

Both are possibilities as well as having an early pregnancy developing outside of the uterus (ectopic pregnancy).  Generally speaking, if you have had bleeding in early pregnancy you should be evaluated.  I'd suggest being seen where you are, or returning to your home country ASAP to be evaluated.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing

Have you taken any HPT's recently?  It sounds like your pg.  I would take another one today if you can seeing as you're late.  If it's positive, you're pg.  Then make a doctor's appointment ASAP.
