Pinching sensation in the nipple

Hello,
I m a 26 yr old female. I have a 2 yr old kid.
From the past few months i ocassionally feel a pinching sensation in my right nipple.
There is no lump or any kind of a discharge from the nipple.
Had also got a breast examination done by my family doc who says that it is nothing to worry.
Initially the pinching sensation would be starting 5-6 days before my menses and would end with it.
But this month I can still feel the sensation.
Is there something that I need to worry about?

Dear mahiema: It is not uncommon for women to have breast pain and discomfort that occurs with the menstrual cycle. Most breast cancer is not painful. If this pinching continues and you remain worried, you could consider an opinion with a breast specialist – these are often affiliated with large academic teaching hospitals.
