RLS Miracle Cure-You're gonna laugh!!!

by lasagna, Mar 14, 2008 09:20AM
Ok,so I am on Day 6,cold turkey. As many of you know I have had horrible RLS.I have tried everything!!And nothing has worked....until.......Ok,here's the funny part....Yesterday I was on line searching frantically for anything that would make my legs feel better.I came across a website that said to put a bar of soap underneath your fitted sheet at the bottom of your bed!(Yes,you read that correctly)There were posts after posts from hundreds of people that tried this and it worked. They also reported that some nights their legs would start hurting again only to find that the bar of soap had fallen on the floor!I,like you,was very skeptical....BUT I have to tell you that last night when my legs were hurting so bad and nothing else was working...I tried it....and oh my gosh it worked!Weird!I don't know why it worked, the mind is an amazing thing-but it worked for me....maybe it will work for you.....if not atleast you got a good laugh!

OMG we went through this a while back it is soooo funny.  We also found the remedy of 3 tbsps of mustard straight no one would try it but I did call me Mikey or Blonde who cares I had RLS so bad I would try anything!  Someone else I think R2R said they would have eaten dog **** if it helped.  Then someone posted "OMG I ate the soap and spread mustard on my sheets what a mess" hahahahaha oh GOD I think I was on day 6 then it was horrible.  BUT I laughed till I bout wet my pants.

I am glad that the soap worked for you, I tried that because my mother swears by it, but unfortunately, it was not helpful for me.

i wonder if it will help for my neck pain?!?!?

by Lotsatrout, Mar 14, 2008 10:33AM
My sister-in-law visited one of her friends in Kentucky once...  She had the flu very bad while she was there.  They insisted that she try one of their "remedies".  She didn't want to be rude or anything so she tried it.

Long story short...  she went to bed that night with peeled raw onions under her armpits and between her thighs.  I asked her if it made her feel any better and she said that it did....  as lasagna said...  I think that our mids are a lot more powerful than we think.  :)

sorry but I have to say this or POP!  With onion in those two selective spots I'm sure no one not even her hubby messed with her so she got a good nights sleep.  I doubt the onion would be conducive to good SEXERSIZE lmao.
hahahahahahahhaaa

AWWWWW come on spill your guts I did hehehehehe We want to know what her answers to you was!  laffin my butt off here.  And I can eat raw onion in salads and it just knocks my lights out I sleep like a baby.  Or with good ole beans and corbread I am a southern cook.  But being newly engaged I think I better not use onion or I may not have a fiancee any longer hahahahahaha

by Firefaery1023, Mar 14, 2008 01:48PM
Yeah the raw onion thing is a little too wierd for me.  Not so much the armpits as there is no way that I would put a raw onion between my legs, lol.

by Shotrock, Mar 14, 2008 03:09PM
I'm going for a run, maybe then I can stop laughing. Too Funny! But the RLS I had from Sub WDS I would have stuck a needle in my eye if I thought it would help!
