Removal of old razor bumps

At a young age I started shaving w/ out telling anyone because afraid that I should not be. Well i would shave my bikini line and lower stomach w/ razors. I received of course razor bumps but just thought they would go away. Well here I am 29 years old and I hate getting naked w/ my boyfriend because of these bumps. My question is there a way to get rid of these bumps after having them for so many years or am I stuck w/ this for life? If I am stuck w/ these bumps cant I get the shin replaced? I am desperate to rid these bumps please help me anyone.
