How can you lose weight or at least maintain weight while taking medications that cause weight gain? I have bipolar 1 and I take seroquel that makes me gain weight , what can I do to lose it or maintain the weight. I've tried other medications and they don't work for me. I have to take seroquel.

The medication doesn't make you gain weight, it just makes it harder, so you have to be supervigilant about your intake and your exercise routines. The biggest problem is emotional eating because you then eat more than you need.  Check out the information re emotional eating, that will help.
