Looking for Someone like me

by Asking4aMiracle, Mar 17, 2008 06:25PM
So i was diagnosed with PCOS in November after TTC for almost 2 and a half years. ive had one cycle of clomid 50mg and IUI. BFN. (IUI was on Feb 26, beta on March 11) Has anyone else has this exact situation and same out come? what did you try next? did you get pregnant. with work im not going to be able to try my next cycle till May, untill then my DR has me and BC to keep me 'normal' i wanted to just straight to IVF when i got the bad news but now that i am thinking logically, i want to try injectibles but want some advise on meds so i can toss them at the DR and see what he thinks would be best.

PLEASE help me out!! Thanks in advance!!!

Hi!  I am 33 and was diagnosed with PCOS when I was in my very early 20's; I've had a complete hysterectomy when I was 24 but I got pregnant with only one ovary and PCOS; once I stopped my BC it only took a few months.  There is hope! :-)  I had one daughter, I happened to have a bad pregnancy--sick the entire time and with my lifestyle, I chose to only have one child.  There is hope; don't give up.  My DR put me on a glucose controlling pill for Diabetics which the PCOS organization (pcos.org) had members that seemed to help with feeling better, less weight gain, etc.

My DR told me he had not dealt with the PCOS much before so I was a trial for him.  If you are really having problems and serious about maintenance, you might need to seek a specialist somewhere near you.  I hope some of this helps and gives you some hope; feel free to contact me anytime.
