I have BPH with a prostate size of 140 grams. I tried greenlight laser but it failed to work. I am considering other surgeries including open surgery. My question is what are my best options? Would a TURP work or do I need open surgery?

Your best option for a durable (long term) result with a  prostate that large is an open prostatectomy. Most urologists would consider a prostate the size of yours to be beyond the limits of either a turp (transurethral prostatectomy) or a green light laser. Both of the latter procedures could remove some tissue. but you need tissue removal to be maximized, and an open procedure can achieve that.
