The answer here is pretty difficult, because there are no standards for treatment. Assuming radiation to the cord only (without radiation to the brain) if the damage is primarily to the nerves themselves (nerves do not heal very well), there is no specific treatment. If the damage is more to the blood vessels that support the spinal cord, the most that can be offered is to consider keeping the blood running by thinning the blood with medications. If the patient is cancer survivor with a long life expectancy, rehabilitation to regain (perhaps the more prudent word is preserve) as much function would be in order if the condition stabilizes.
