Facial neuritis

by lolly1123, Mar 18, 2008 09:59AM
I am a 36 year old female.  I began having tingling and burning on the left side of mouth and face 11/07.  It then spread to the right side of my face.  Then my face began to have numbness mostly on the right side including my tongue and right eye.  I also began having extreme burning in my lips and tooth sensitivity.  I am on Lyrica 300mg b.i.d. and Neurontin t.i.d. (I can not remember the dose).  I have had a negative C.T. scan and negative M.R.I.  I had a negative spinal tap as well.  The only preceding event to this was a fever blister outbreak. I was wondering what another physician's thoughts were regarding this.  I want to get a second opinion.
