What are they?

My aunt is 49 yrs.old and was told today she has 6 Lesions on her Brain.It's gonna cost her $200 to go to the Neurologist because her medicade won't pay,so that's all she know's right now.Can you please help us and tell us what Lesions are.Thanks.NW South Carolina.

The word "lesion" means any deformed or damaged tissue due to any cause. This term is only suggestive of some abnormality. Please give details of 6 lesions, what kind and type i.e cyst, granuloma, tumor etc.
