something is different

Took my first doses of amantadine.  And yes, I seem to have more energy.  Not sure if it is due to the amantadine or the psychology of taking something to restore my energy.  Actually getting more work done and concerning myself with the details. Hopefully, it will last through the day.

Gosh, I hope this continues to work so well for you.  Who knows, we might start calling you the "Energizer Bunny," before long.

How are you sleeping at night, since taking this medication?  Any troubles?

Have a good and energized day!

Heather

Well, I have not tried sleeping yet.

I did notice though that there is a ceiling of concentration that I reach.  The good thing is that it is higher than it has been.  Not what i used to be though.

My wife is making a bunch of bunnies for the easter season.  I hope it is appropriate to my name on one.

For some reason I cannot picture you as a pink bunny.....:)

I am not too bashful to where pink or a bunny suit.  Neither are my prefered garb choices.

My husband is red/green color blind. Sees pink as gray?

So one day I had on a gray sweatshirt/pants and he said "Oh don't you look so cute in your pink bunny suit."

Sure, you keep thinking that dear!

I think this thread topic has now changed......

It is amazing how much faster the day goes by when my mind is fully concentrating.

That is good, Michael.  I am so happy that you are having a good day, they have been few and far between for you, you deserve it!

Oh, Michael, I hope it is not too late to tell you the down side to feeling so good!!

Be very careful.  I found when I first started the Provigil that it was hard for me to know when I had exceeded my limits.  Heck, it felt so good to be able to do stuff that I wayyyyy overdid for about two weeks.  Then I crashed and paid the price big time!  Pace yourself, but enjoy the feeling like your old self.

If you feel like H*ll the next day, don't blame the amantadine.  It was probably overdoing it.  Good luck.

Thanks, but I did read your story on that and some others.

I will be careful.  Most of my time will be spent sitting and working anyways.

Did you get plenty of sleep?  How are you feeling today?

One thing today that I had to remember.  I took the amantadine and after a while I was still somewhat sluggish.  Wondering if this drug was not working.  Bemused, my wife asked, "Did you have your morning coffee?"

:)

Silly me.  Energy and brain are back.

I'm convinced now, after reading that VERY GOOD poem (like Bridget from Bridget Jones' Diary would have said) that I need to start taking the full dose of my Provigil the doctor ordered.  LOL

Have a great day, Michael!
