Leg Numbness

by LisaDy, Mar 20, 2008 01:57PM
I started working out in a local gym a week ago.  After a session of leg press (70 lb.), and working the inner and outer abductors (85lb. each) for 3 circuits of 3x10 reps, I walked 2 miles @ approx. 3.8 m/hr on a treadmill.  I now have numbness from my ankle to knee along a 2 inch strip next to the inside of my shin bone.

What have I done?  This is day 3 with no improvement.

Hello.

Since you have recently started the Gym, the body will take its time to adjust to the new routine.

Medial (inner) side of the shin numbness suggests that you are compressing some nerve either at the thigh or in the spine. I would like to ask if the numbness stays all day long.

Regards
