My husband has been taking zoloft which was working great then over the past few months his OCD came back as if not treated. The doctor put him on 1mg of xanax to take with the zoloft, he has been taking it 4 days now and he is seems very angry, his moods are crazy, things that would not bother him are making him blow up, it this normal? I want to call the doctor but don't want him angry becuase I called. Any thoughts? Thanks much

No, that is not a normal reaction to the xanax, but it may be the underlying issues that are causing the ocd flare up are expressing themselves this way, and that is a good sign that your husband ought to be in talk therapy now to sort out what is so frustrating for him in his life now.
