HELP PLEASE

We are a young couple, that is sexually active, we had sex on feb 25, i penetrated her a two or three   times and then i wore a condom like always, her period suposed to be  on march  9th  but it came until 14th , it lasted 6 days, and the only thing that she told me its that she used to change her pad twice a day and this month it wasnt necesary, one daily was enough. she has been feeling light headed, dizzy , nauseas and strong headachee. Its important for you to know that she has a los of stomachal problems , and she suffers a lot of irritations in her stomach (nauseas, vomiting),  she went to her doctor because of that problem on march 6th, and the doctor left her alot of exams(even an endascopy) , she asked for vitamins to gain weight and the doctor gave her an pre-natal ones (actavas or activas  rx ) for that.. my question is that if this vitamins would give her these symtoms or if its any chance that she is pregnant? even with her period? any answer and explanation  will be really apreciated.

Hello,

If she thinks she might be pregnant she should take a pregnancy test.   If it is negative, repeat it in one week.  Prenatal vitamins can make women nauseated or exacerbate the nausea they are already experiencing from being pregnant.  They generally do not cause lightheadedness, dizziness or headache.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing

No, she cannot be pregnant if she had her period.
