microscopic hematuria

I am a 29y/o male.  I was diagnosed with a condition about 5 years ago that my doctor called jogger's kidney.  I went to the doctor because of an intestinal infection I had and they scheduled me for a urinalysis to test for anything else that may have been wrong.  When I got the results back my doctor noticed that I had a RBC count of 30+.  After a year of different tests and an IVP it was found that because of my exercise regimine and the 4+ miles a day I was running 3 times a week that all the jarring to my kidneys was causing the problem.  I have since cut back on all the running and the RBC count has decrease significantly to about 4.
My question is, I was wondering if this condition can cause any type of health problems for my wife.  We have a very healthy sex life but it seems that any time we don't use a condom she ends up with pelvic pains a day or so afterwards.  I am in the Navy and I have been gone for almost 6 months now.  When I left my wife had a lump in her pelvic area around her uterus.  It has since gone away while I have been gone and I am wondering if this may be caused by my condition.  Is it possible that it may be an allergic reaction to my semen as well?  We moved to Florida about a year ago from Pennsylvania and she regularly saw a doctor while we lived there.  A few times she went in for her pain and had a pelvic exam done.  Her doctor told her that she was having some bleeding from her cervix but it was nowhere near time for her period.  During this time she was also having irregular periods and was diagnosed with having uterine cysts.  I realize this is a lot of info but I am rather curious as to what may be going on health wise.  Any help or info i can get would be so appreciated.  thank you in advance for any info you can shed on this for me.

Hi,

You have been diagnosed with asymptomatic hematuria and this was not due to any underlying infection. This resolved after you have modified your exercise regimen. I believe that your case does not cause the symptoms experienced by your wife. Uterine cysts may likely explain her symptoms. Was it a diagnosis of uterine myomas in her case?In the presence of cervical bleeding ,she may need to be further evaluated.
Uterine cysts may cause pain during sexual contact and they may also alter the menstrual cycle. She may need a pap smear and a pelvic CT scan or transvaginal ultrasound. These scans may be repeated if she had these some time ago .Some uterine cysts have a propensity for recurring.

Your wife's previous history of uterine cysts may allow you to focus on evaluating along this line first.
