I am back around that circle again

Hello all, very sorry for my lengthy absence. The whole family caught that 'super flu' and everyone fought it off in a few days, except me of course. I kept it for nearly 2 weeks and could not eat or drink for several days. Ended up at the hospital to stop the vomiting and they stuck me on penicillin which started to help. I guess I had strep throat and super flu together- boy that was a trip.

I have my C Spine Mri results back - from when they were taken, I believe it was early Feb. You know the brain. Anyway, the Mri came back clear and my neuro is ruling out MS (for right now I guess). He is certain of Dysautonomia and feels my problems are from that. Most of it does seem to fit. The flare up still make me wonder, but it I read on forums that this can happen with the Dysautonomia also.

I am way behind on the forum, and thank you to you such kind folks who messaged me, wondering about me. I was so very nice to be missed by someone. :)

Hugs to all

Jazzy

Hello gang, thank you SO much, it is so great to be back. I sure missed all of you!

Well, I guess I am now officially or unofficially? not an MS'er. I does seem I have a mimic, can I stick around? LOL

T lynn! I cannot believe we are that close. We are fairly close to Wanna also. Lets' all get together!

Hi Wanna gal, I sure am - I am to see Kamal Chemali up here at the big C.C. Hope he can offer some help. This weather is crazy, one day 40 degrees and the next day 4 inches of snow. Crazy. This poor planet doesn't know how to act anymore.

Oh my Heather, I had heard this also, that this is a very strong, scary strain of flu, and I sure believe it. I couldn't believe how bad off I was, it was shocking. I could not move, not even my head without getting sick. I had no voice from the strep- when I would hobble out of bed, I would stand hanging on to something and point to what I needed done LOL. The males just LOVED that haaaa.
Two times, OH my. I have heard so many folks saying this, they get it, get better and then get it again. I don't know how you made it through, it is so, so bad.

I am to have my thyroid biopsy this coming week, hopefully that won't throw another wrench in the works here. I feel positive about it now and think it will be fine.

Hugs to you all!
Jazzy

Hey girlfriend....SO glad that you are back among the living.  You have been missed, greatly.

I had that killer flu and had it twice.  Thankfully I didn't wind up in the hospital.  So much for the flu shot I took last year.  Hope that are better predictors of what vaccine to make for next year.  I heard alot of people where extremely ill with this particular strain and many lost their lives, young and old alike.  It was a whopper.  Thank God you are alright now.

Glad you're back.  Big Hugs of 'Welcome Home.'

Glad you are back.  Sorry you were so ill with flu and bugs!

Are you going to a new specialist now that you are diagnosed with Dysautonomia?  Or does that still fall into the neuro's field?

Spring keeps trying to get here but the snow sure keeps trying to fight back!  I had a dream last night that we had a breezy warm day and I opened all the windows.  Let's hope that comes true soon.

Good to from you.

Happy Easter!
