Clear bump near removed wisdom tooth

by baxter442, Mar 22, 2008 10:14PM
I recently had all four of my wisdom teeth removed.  The surgery went very well and I had a great recovery with no problems.  However, I now have a small, hard, clear bubble above where my left lower wisdom tooth was removed.  It does not cause me any pain, there is no redness or excessive swelling, it is not visible on the exterior of my face.  I am inclined to not worry about it, but it won't go away and it has been about 2 months since my extraction.  My dentist looked at it and seemed a little baffled but said it did not look serious.  Any thoughts about what it could be?
