Seperation anxiety

by mberger, Mar 23, 2008 07:23PM
When my daughter was 9 years old and her brother was 5 years old, he left the home in oct 2005, and in feb 2006 the divorce was final. The woman that he got with was her 3rd grade teacher, and in nov 2006 her and my son was diagonised with seperation anxiety and post tramic stress, well my daughter is 11 will be 12 in oct, and she can't leave me, she will call me from school just to say hello and that she loves me, then sometimes she will call because she isn't feeling well stomach problems, and headaches, but she is so worried about me and she has a hard time sleeping over at her friends house, she will attempt it but then she will come home because she can't be away.. she doesn't want to go to her dad's house for alot of reasons, but then when she get's there sometimes she wants to come home to be with me.. her father seems to think that there isn't nothing wrong with her and that she needs to get over it.. what do i do for her, what do i do to get him to see that there is something wrong? i am very concerned for her, tried therapy but finances wouldn't allow me to continue and i don't know how to get him to understand that someting is really wrong.. i am very very worried and concerened about my daughter i have never seen her like this.
