Fertility after a D&E

by mama21, Mar 24, 2008 03:31PM
I had a D&E at week 21 last July (07). My husband and I are ready to try again and have been for 2 months now... with no luck. We conceived our daughter our first month trying and our second (the one we lost) the first month trying. I am fairly regular and always have been, and we have had intercourse about 3 times a week both cycles... I am going to try ovulation sticks this month, but my question is; could anything have gone wrong after my D&E that I may not know about, or is it still too early to start worrying?
Thank you.

Hello,

It is way to early to start worrying.  If 9-12 months pass with no luck, then I suggest you see your ob/gyn.  Otherwise keep working at it.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
