how safe will be the abortion? if done

Hi, I am 34yr old with "O" positive blood group , the father of a baby boy 2yr old, My wife is 28 with "O" negative blood group. She is having regular periods after the last delivery till last month (21st Feb'08) but as in this month it was not happend so went for a Pregnancy test (25th March'08) and it reports positive.
The question is both of us don't want the second child so early, and if we go for an abortion will there be any risk at in future as we share the different RH factor.? kindly advice

Hello,

Yes, but in this setting a woman is given a medication called rhogam (or Rhophylac) to minimize the risk she develops antibodies to Rh positive blood.

Best regards,

Is it safe to take Vicodin or Percocette for severe pain in the 30th week of pregnancy?
