overweight after pregnancy

Dear Dr.,
I'm 33 yrs old. I gave birth to my first son in 2005. I was pretty much overweight before his birth but after I started gaining weight quite rapidly. Now my old clothes don't fit me. What should I do to stop the weight gain? What kind of medication would help me?

There aren't any dr's in this forum, however If your pregnant... DON"T DIET, however, if your not, then try Xenical or Orlistat. It's FDA Approved and safe, You can get it at walmart or a bunch of other stores, just don't eat really greasy foods.

The med stops your body from absorbing some of the fat you eat, so If you eat a greasy cheeseburger, it'll come right out the other way as nasty orange grease! (I was on the stuff, before it became OTC for about 8mo. I learned the hard way)

Combine that w/excercise and you'll start losing weight.
