I was told I had inflammed lymph nodes 3 years ago with no signs of infection.I recently started having severe headaches in the back of my head. After the headaches came I was told by my general doctor that I have a lymph node swollen in the back of my head causing the migrains.I contacted an oncologist and have an appointment on April 8 for tests.What kind of tests can I expect and is it wrong of me to be so worried?

You should relax and just discuss all your symptoms in detail with your doctor. Do not panic and clear out all the doubts that you have.
The tests that would be required would depend on the clinical examination by your doctor , but would include some blood tests and probably biopsy of the lymph nodes or needle aspiration.
