Cancer of Unconfirm Primary Source

by dada622, Mar 28, 2008 05:29AM
My father,70 yrs old, who found backache last about 3 weeks, become more serious till cant stand or turn around by himself on 25th March 2008. After MRI for lumber spine, found L1 collapse (as what be informed by the doctor), & the Orthopaedic surgery verbally told us that from the result, he can assure 95% it was cancer. We were referred to the Medical Oncology/Haematology, who then ask numerous questions for the symptoms of cancer, which my father have non of them, except the backache. He was admitted on the same day (25th Mar 2008). On that evening, he took the blood test.

The next day, he had the CT scan & MRI for the other 2 upper parts of his spine. According the Oncology, the blood test is normal, blood count is normal, bone marker normal, result for CT scan found no abnormality. He advice to go for bone biopsy and this test taken on today 28th March 28, 2008.

I have attached herewith his full scan results for reference.
