I had every test related to conceive (except tube blockage) and they came normal my husband also got test for his semen it came normal. So my question is even though why i m not pregnant yet?? its been a year now ( exact 12 months) i ve been trying to conceive. Shoul i get the tube blockage test also. Does this test cover in medical insurance?  And what is other reasons to not get pregnant? My age is 26 yr old and my husband is 35 yr.
and in my family history and my huband family no one has or had firtility problem.

Hello,

The most common causes of couple's infertility is anovulation, tubal factor and male factor.  Given tubal disease is so common, getting tested for tubal patency is critical.  Often couples undergo evaluations for infertility and no identifiable cause is determined.  Many of these couples will still go on to conceive, so I'd encourage you to keep trying.

You'll have to talk with a representative of your insurance company to find out if they'll cover the hysterosalpingogram.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
