Can't say that I've ever heard of that problem after a cath (hematoma). Unfortunately, it usually only takes me one post to totally use up all the info I have on most situations. I'd have to defer to the doc. Sounds like he's on the case.
Hope you're able to get some relief soon. Just the uncertainties of a situation like that really can drag you down.
PS--It usually only takes me 2 posts to use up all the words I know......;-)
Happy trails !!
thankyou jim for your reply, and im happy you didnt have any real complications. did you develop a hemotoma. thats my concern, and how long will it take to heal ? my cardiologist told me as result after no.2 ultra scan, he was shocked how large it was and if it didnt heal soon , he would have no choice but to go in and do something about it. the homatoma is now deep instead of purtruding out. and i feel a lot of pressure and burning deep inside. have any ideas or info you can share? look forward to heaing from you, thanks again concerned patient
That's probably not dangerous. I've had 5 caths done so far, and it seems like each one acts a little different. I've never had any particular pain that I can recall. More like just tenderness. A couple times, the whole upper part of my hind leg turned a whole bunch of different colors before it got better. But, ultimately, it do get better.
Be of good cheer.
