Confused...

I have been diagnosed with HPV in the last year. My boyfriend now has a small red bump on the shaft of his penis. Do you think this could be a wart? And if so, are there any home treatments to help? I've read that 1600 mcg of folic acid might. Is that true?

If you have a wart strain, it may be possible he contracted this from you.  How long have you been symptom free (assuming you have a wart strain)?  However, if you don't, the chances aren't necessarily as likely.  I have also read taking folic acid+vitamins is definitely good for helping your immune system, thus PERHAPS helping your body get healthier and rid of the virus quicker.  I would really forego the "home treatment" route from OTC products.  These all seem to be scams and are no substitute for a health care professional.  Since you or him are not even sure this is a wart, have him go to a doctor or free clinic and go from there.  Good luck.
