Possible infection?

I had an extraction and synthetic bone graft of #18 on 3/25. I did very well until last night, 3/29, and have increasing pain and swelling. Today the sutures came loose and are holding on by very little. The reason for the extraction was a root canal in August that continued to hurt and I had 4 courses of antibiotics, with no benefit. At first all neck and most gland swelling went away but has come back today. I have no fever but increasing discomfort. My question is if I should call "after hours" or is it okay to wait until Monday if the discomfort doesn't get any worse? Thank you.

I tell my patients that if they are ever "thinking" that they should call, then they definitely should call.

Your doctor, or a covering doctor, should be available after hrs to respond to questions exactly like yours.
