Rimming and STDs

Hello,

I received rimming from a asian massage girl. Any risk for gonnorrea or any other STDs?

THanks!

I have never heard of a case of STD transmitted from mouth to anus.  Undoubtedly there is a theoretical chance of herpes (due to HSV-1) and possibly syphilis.  But the risks for either are low enough to disregard.  Don't worry about it.

Doc H,

Thank you. What would be the typical symptoms I'd see if I did catch Gonorea rectally? How long until I saw them? I see postings that talk about discharge, would I liek have no doubt when I saw it? Not sure how much we're talking about.

I'm 99% fine with it, but feeling a little 'moist' rectally, and wanted to see what i was looking for.

Thanks sir!

You're just going to drive yourself crazy if you start looking for symptoms you cannot possibly have.  That's especially true because the symptoms of rectal gonorrhea are identical to those of many non-STD anal conditions.  Various combinations of anal itching, soreness, scanty bleeding, white pus or mucus observed on your feces, and so on. If you notice any of those things, it won't be gonorrhea and it won't be from the rimming episode.  But of course if in doubt, see a health care provider.

I won't have any further comments.
