How likely would it be for my stroke to have been caused by a PFO

by rugby_girl, Mar 31, 2008 10:25AM
Ive been told I have a PFO, but i dont have any reason that I would have had a stroke, or a clot of any kind, so what are the chances of this causing my stroke. I now take asprin and dypridamole to thin blood  and i have low cholestrol (3.7) and my blood pressure is now low as the doctors insist that I need to take tablets for it just in case.
I think the chances of there being a clot that was sat waiting for the oportune moment to cross from one side of my heart to the other can only be exceptionally low, does anyone know any thing that would be of help please
