Very Strange Visual Disturbances

by gettinnervous, Mar 31, 2008 07:21PM
I have been experiencing ever increasing and varying visual disturbances.  They started about 1.5 yrs ago with neon green orbs when closing eyes at night. I have vision that blurs and then clears.  Sometimes everything in my field of vision bounces a ew seconds, stops, repeats, stops, etc.  A few times my full vision has blocked out with patterns and a zooming in and out affect.  The lights have started being visible at times thru the day and are in consistent.  Sometimes in color, mostly white.  Sometimes spots of light in r eye.  The other day I was getting bright squiggly lines in motion coming and going near center of vision with about a 25% field behind that that was opaque and still.  Eye exams are normal, no major headaches.  I have fibromyalgia, but docs say this doesn't seem to be related.  One eye doc says maybe occular migraines, but other doc says to consistent for that diagnosis.  I have been getting some stress related blood pressure spikes as well.  I have a history of very good BP.  Getting really worried about tumor or stroke.  Any ideas or advice?  Thanks!!
